We must be thankful to Allah for providing us the sustenance, which enables us to fulfill the basic necessities of life for ourselves as well as for our dependents. But, yes, there are people who strive to make two ends meets. There are people including children and helpless women who can’t even take a full meal in a day. Allah is the best Helper, He has created them and He will definitely help them, like us, those needy are also his creation. It is a blessing which Allah as bestowed on those who give in the way of Allah without any showoff. This category of help will focus on those families who cannot afford their basic needs and any random member after scrutiny can offer his help to the needy. Help others to help yourself – we all have to leave this materialistic world, let some good deeds of our come to our rescue in the world hereafter.
Dear members, a drop of water will not add value to ocean or to its volume, but the same drop if put in a small container can make a lot of difference. Imam Ali asws says in Nahjul Balaga “Do not feel ashamed if the amount of charity is small because to refuse the needy is an act of greater shame.”
