Let us start with the saying of Imam Ali asws on knowledge. Imam Ali asws says “Gone Are those who pile wealth, even while they are alive. But those who are knowledgeable stay as long as there is night & day: although their bodies may be dead, but their knowledge is alive in the hearts” . And, at other place Imam Ali (asws) is heard to have said that “A worshiper without knowledge is like the mill donkey; it rotates but it does not leave its place”. https://qoia.wordpress.com/tag/knowledge/

The illumination of one’s heart, mind and enlightening the soul is possible through education. The education in every era provides us with two significant things i.e. the wisdom and the sustenance. If by the Grace of Allah, we are able lit a torch, by providing an education to a needy, trust in Allah and let us have a firm believe that one enlightened touch which has been enlightened will lit many other torches in the long run.

To be well-educated is a birthright of everyone. But, unfortunately, there are number of our children, who despite being well at studies are deprived from this blessing because of the finances. Reaching out for their help directly or indirectly is one of the objectives. Education can be the facilitator to pull families and communities out of the cycle of poverty. We must try to break this cycle of poverty through Education. It develops a perspective of looking at life. We at Zahra (sa) Foundation are committed to provide education for, all by your help, so that no child is left behind and change the world for good. The education to girls is again very important. We must emphasis on the Girl Education, as an educated girl has better means to take care and support herself and her family.

Some extracts of Dua e Kumail are as follows for our remembrance and adherence too,

i. The most complete gift of God is a life based on knowledge.

ii. Knowledge gives life to the soul.

iii. Knowledge creates fear of God.

iv. Humility is the product of knowledge. (https://www.al-islam.org/articles/various-sayings-imam-ali-ibn-abi-talib-imam-ali-ibn-abu-talib#extract-dua-kumayl
